"Opt In" post

I didn't watch the Superbowl so i don't have a favorite commercial but the Volkswagen commercial was very funny.

I believe that BMW is in pretty good shape but they will probably have to sell about 20 new cars.

Cost of Superbowl Commercial Time:
Guess: $500,000
Real: A 30-second ad in Super Bowl XLV (2011) on CBS costs between $2.5 million and $2.8 million.
The record cost for a Super Bowl commercial was during the 2010 Super Bowl on NBC, when ads averaged $3 million a piece.
People all around the world can see the Super Bowl. But when it comes to Superbowl vs the World Cup(soccer) more people watch that by almost 1000 million people because soccer is a universal sport

I think in the United States the advertising is good during the Super Bowl because TONS of people watch football. I bet the 4 out of 5 houses in America have some type of football fan gear. But advertising outside of the U.S. might not be as good, for example, in Europe "football" means what it says a foot and a ball which to Americans means soccer.

  1. That's a neat way to pique the reader's interest by saying what your guess on cost was and then explaining what it really is.
